Yas Island - Route 290

The bus between Yas Island and the city runs about once an hour. Its final stop is the Park (with the coffee pots) near the Starbucks on Khalifa Street the street running past Madinat Zayed Shopping center. This would be the start and finish for the route. It takes about an hour each way. The stop on Yas Island is in the hotel area directly outside of the Rotana Hotel. A sign is posted there with return timings.

Zayed University in Khalifa City by Bus

Current options for bus service to Zayed University in Khalifa City

Use bus services 150, 402, and 405 from Abu Dhabi city.

All buses stop along 16th Street, which is the road connecting Khalifa City A and Baniyas. Distance between road and the university Parameter is about 300 m. The Roads Transport Authority (RTA) have installed temporarily defined stops, and buses should stop on passenger's requests.

Some time around Sept – Oct 2011, depending on management approval and readiness of the bus operator, the RTA will implement new bus service 140 Zayed University – Khalifa City A - Abu Dhabi Central Bus District. At that time, bus services 150, 402 and 405 will no longer operate along 16th Street.
